Attendance Projections
The Block is projected to receive 360,000 visitors annually, with highest attendance during the summer months and weekends. This projection also includes attendance at the IMAX theater, which will be open in the evenings.

Funding Overview
The Riverfront Museum is the only component of The Block requiring private and public funding. Efforts to secure the rest of the private funds are being spearheaded by Caterpillar, the CEO Roundtable and the Museum Collaboration Group. It will require full community involvement from both businesses and individuals, to reach the goal for private funding by early 2009. The remaining public funding will occur in 2009 and will come from a possible combination of county, state and federal funding. The Caterpillar Experience is being funded entirely by Caterpillar Inc. No private or public money will be used for the building of this facility.
